A couple of weeks ago we got to spend a relaxing weekend with friends in the North Cascades. We drove to Mazama, WA where we met our friends at a beautiful secluded mountain cabin. As we were driving through the Washington Pass we were surprised to find huge piles of snow still left in the mountains. It was interesting to see people skiing in shorts in the middle of May. The drive through the Washington Pass was so gorgeous. We stopped a bunch of times to enjoy the views. We had such a great weekend with our friends and it was so nice to be away from the rush of the city.
