Last weekend we had a chance to take a 3 day trip to Seattle. During our stay in Seattle we made sure to visit some of the typical tourist attractions as well as drive out to explore the nearby mountains. On our first day in Seattle we walked around the city and then drove out to Discovery Park to spend time by the water and see the sunset. The next day we woke up early and drove out to hike the Little Si Trail. The trail is only 20 minute drive from the city and it was definitely worth going. We spent a few hours hiking and enjoying the views. When we hiked back from the Little Si Trail we took a nice break for lunch and then decided to drive out to Mt Raineir National Park to see Mowich Lake. The drive to Mowich Lake was intense, we drove on a gravel road to the top of a mountain and it took us a long time to get there. Sadly it was a cloudy and foggy so we didn’t get to see the top of the mountains, but the water was very clear and the views were beautiful. Seattle is a gorgeous city and we’re very happy to have had a chance to visit it.
