I was so excited to receive my first Stitch Fix box. When I got home and saw the box at my doorsteps I couldn’t wait to open it and see what goodies my personal stylist picked out for me. I have a pretty consistent style, so I was nervous to see what someone else has chosen for me. All of the clothes I got were unique, and not things I would have picked up on a store shelf but I loved the experience and will be impatiently waiting for my next styled box to arrive.
Here is what my stylist picked out for my first box:
At first when I saw the Berneen Printed Dolman Sleeve Top from 41Hawthorn, I was taken back by the pattern and didn’t think I would like it. When I tried it on, I was surprised how comfortable it felt and the pattern grew on me, so I might actually keep it.
The shirt on the left, Ackley Split Neck Blouse from 41Hawthorn, has a very nice material, but was way to big on me and I’ll be shipping it back. The shirt on the right, Maxwell Embellished Neckline Knit Top from Pixley, has a very nice top, but I don’t like the fabric and that it wrinkles easily, so I’ll be shipping this one back as well. I love that Stitch Fix makes it really easy and convenient to ship back what you don’t want to keep. All I have to do drop off the clothes I don’t want in a prepaid envelope.
I love the Pixley Tamir Dress, and this is something I would pick out in the store on my own. I’m definitely keeping this dress.
I like the Urban Expressions Elle Woven Clutch and fell like it is versatile and could go with anything.
I had a great experience with my first Stitch Fix box and I’m really excited to see what I will receive next. Big thank you to my friend, Karina, for recommending this awesome and fun service.
