I was very excited when Jenna from Coalition for Children, Youth & Families contacted me last year to be their volunteer photographer. Ever since then I’ve photographed many foster children and a few family events. Last weekend I volunteered my time to photograph 12 wonderful families for their annual portrait day. This was my first time participating in the portrait day and it was such a great experience. Hubby came along to help set up and keep track of sessions. We met with so many wonderful families and I wish I could share every session, but due to privacy reasons I can only share finalized adoptions. Below is a little sneak peek of some of lifestyle moments and portraits I was able to capture during the mini sessions.
Although on location lifestyle photography is my specialty, this time we had a studio set up in case of weather or any families wanting a studio portraits instead.
Thank you hubby for being my model for light and background testing around the office through out the day :).
